SET DESIGN: This workflow process included the design/digital development of sets and specific set pieces to be used with motion capture action on Sony studio sound stages within a mocap volume. The environmental/set design was completed in Maya, then all stage motion capture plans and mocap set piece assets were finalized for production using AutoCAD. This process also included direct coordination with construction throughout the set build.

SET DESIGN: This workflow process included the complete design and development of sets/specific set pieces as well as all related real world mocap set pieces used with motion capture action on Sony studio sound stages within a mocap volume. As with the other mocap movies, the environmental/set design was completed in Maya as well as all camera setups and play blasts used for previs. All stage motion capture plans and mocap set piece assets were finalized for production using AutoCAD. This project required a significant amount of asset transference between software programs to complete each step in the process. 3-d assets from Maya were imported into AutoCAD to develop the blueprint drawings used for the mocap asset build process. Inversely, Architectural line drawings developed in AutoCAD were imported into Maya to aid in the process of tilt-up modeling to develop all of the 3-d building assets. This workflow process also included direct coordination with construction throughout the asset/set build process.
ASSISTANT ART DIRECTOR: This workflow process consisted of set/set piece management and scheduling for load in and load out on shoot day. Providing on stage direction for build out and placement of set, set pieces, props, marks to accommodate sequenced action as directed.
