Shown below are several current patents that I am named on. These are the result of the product development process either through Oldcastle Precast or with individual inventors that engaged me for product development. 

As the co-manager of intellectual property for Oldcastle Precast my responsibilities included trademark management. This included the coordination and communication with Oldcastle Law regarding maintenance of existing marks, new trademark potential evaluation, class identification/selection, as well as the writing of goods and services descriptions for filing of new marks. Also included in my responsibilities was the Identification of, or management of any instances of infringement, and evaluation and report out of proposed next steps/response. This led to the development of the "Trade Mark Potential Evaluation" process. This process evaluated several variables related to the proposed mark including novelty, messaging, alignment with the overall brand strategy, clarity or confusion within the marketplace, SEO, historical meaning or etymology of words/terms, as well as existing marks. The process resulted in the individual evaluation of each variable creating a composite evaluation of Trade Mark potential for registration, strength, enforceability, and value.

I have written hundreds of provisional patent applications, including specifications, claims, background, abstracts, and drawings of the inventions. The applications were written to emulate full non-provisional utility applications. This allowed me to convey as much detail about the inventions as possible at a very early stage. This practice also ensured a clear understanding by all parties of the reasons for filing, all novelty aspects, desired claim protection, and as many alternate embodiments of the invention as possible. These applications are the result of the product development process either through corporations or with individual inventors that engaged me for the product development, patent writing or patent filing process.
